Since we have been facing with COVID-19 situation at the beginning of the year until in this moment. It’s good new that we are safe in Thailand. No 2nd round for the COVID-19 in our country. We are still protecting ourselves by wearing a mask and take an alcohol gel anywhere. As a new normal way of living and working, we are working from home or working at office sometime. I cannot deny that it is still hard working and I think that it might be the time to take a break and boost up my energy.
I took 2 days-annual leave to Pattaya Beach. It was good to travel in weekday that people were working but I was traveling. It was raining’s day but it couldn’t break my trip. My friend and I didn’t have plan, we just drove and dropped at La Baguette Bakery Cafe. We ordered Almond Croissant, some juice and ice-cream. If you are there, you have to order Croissant, it is a signature bakery in this cafe.
We checked in at Holiday Inn Pattaya in the afternoon. Currently the hotel is opening only Bay Tower for accommodation. We were so lucky that the hotel upgraded from Sea View to Ocean View. It’s heaven on earth. We can see panorama view of Pattaya Beach from the room with 2,000 ++ Baht per night. I also bought two vouchers for Aromatherapy, so we spent all evening to relax body and mind.
Pattaya beach was so quiet and there were not so much tourists around here just only local people who was running or setting to see sunset on the beach. I feel relieved from any burden on my shoulder. We decided not to go dinner else where just bought some food from 7/11 and we were immersed night view from our room.
We woke up in the early morning, strolling on long beach, taking photos and be back for our breakfast. Due to saving budgets, the breakfast was a-la-carte, not buffet. However I was impressed for the hospitality at Holiday Inn Pattaya, and I would like to recommend you this hotel can be on your list to choose.
Although, it won’t be safe to go aboard but you can choose to take your annual leave, a shot break and travelling in Thailand. Especially, 4 or 5 stars hotels are not expensive at the present time and it can help people in tourism industry to keep their jobs and support local economy.
