Keep Calm and Stay Positive

Posted on April 23, 2021January 13, 2022

I still remembered the same period in 2020 that Thailand faced the first wave of the Coronavirus. The first time that my country had to shut down and 100% WFH 3 months. It was tough situation, and hard working at that time. We had to adapt ourselves to use technology for remote work.

After 3 months for 100% WFH, we separated in serveral team to switch working at office and home. Before we planed to celebrate New Year 2021, we faced with the second wave of COVID-19. Eventually the events were cancelled and no New Year’s celebration.

I was back to work 100% at my office again after the situation was under control. I had plan to take annual leave to the southern of Thailand for taking a break from hard working. But I have to cancel my trip because we are currently facing the third wave of pandemic COVID-19 again. It began early April. No celebration for Songkran Festival again. After Songkran Festival, we are working 100% work from home again and again.

I do believe that we have to work from home next month as well, due to number of patients that still increasing. There are over 2,000 infected people in Thailand as of today (April 23, 2021), it’s new high.

People around me, they are so afraid of the infection and me too. I think that we should aware of self protection but not panic. I am living according to normal live. I wake up in early morning and stroll along a beach. I walk for exercise in a park almost everyday.

Keep calm and stay positive.
