It’s long time that I haven’t seen or updated downtown in Bangkok. I do mostly commute by subway or sky train in downtown because it’s convenience and timing control. The sky was so bright and blue sky on last weekend, so it’s time to travel in Bangkok and take some photos.
I took subway to MRT Samyan Station and then walked to a bus stop that it’s not far from the subway. During the way, I passed Chamchuri Square and stopped to take a few photos of the skyscrapers around Samyan area. I saw a small Chinese Shrine and I dropped to pay respect. If you would like to travel around Samyan area, there is a bicycle public station that you can rent.
At the bus stop, it has an electronic bus schedule that I haven’t seen before. How long do I wait a bus at a bus stop, LoL? I got on the bus number 36 to my destination Grand Post Office. The Grand Post Office is an ancient building in Bangrak district. When I was a kid, I was there on weekend sometime with my father to go Stamp Market. The building is currently using for an office of Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC). TCDC is a public resource center in Thailand focused on the design and creative industries. It has 5 floors, TCDC’s members can use library services and co-working space. The 5th floor is rooftop that you can see Bangkok views by day and night. Some part of the building is using for special exhibition as well.
