This trip happened before long weekend on Mother’s Day. It was my first trip in this year to go somewhere that was far from Bangkok and Chonburi. I flew by Nok Air with very bad experience the delayed flights.
A local taxi picked me from Phuket International Airport to my hotel at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort & Spa. I took around 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive my destination. I had no idea that it’s quite far from the airport. The hotel isn’t far from Kata Beach, just walking 10 minutes.
The first day in Phuket was on cloudy day but the rest days were sunshine. The popular activity is surfing on Kata Beach. That made me think about Chief Hong in Hometown Cha Cha Cha, the most popular Korean Series.
The hotel is located on the hill, it’s a bit exhausted to go down to Kata’s downtown and go up to the hotel. However I still went to The Coffee Cup, Starbucks and 7/11 from time to time.
Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort & Spa is a small hotel but services based on its standard. All staff are very welcome and great support their guests. My room was a Superior Room with garden view, actually it was swimming pool view.
I liked the room, it’s a big one and large balcony. There were two big chairs for taking garden and swimming pool view, reading a books and listening your favorite songs.
Unfortunately, I thought the breakfast wasn’t good enough to compare with the other Novotel’s hotels. It was not so much food for selection.
Anywhere, I still recommend this hotel for family or someone who just to stay in the cozy hotel. It’s quiet and good for charging your energy before be back to busy world.
